Lori Streator is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 12 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University and completed her Master’s degree at Lewis University. She has worked in various settings including residential, inpatient, outpatient and private practice.

 

Lori works mainly with older teens and adults, and specializes in treating anxiety. Her approach to treatment includes treating the mind and body holistically in order to achieve the best possible results. Lori strives to meet her clients where they are, provides a supportive space and offers realistic guidance while tailoring treatment to their individual needs. She offers a fresh take on therapy by incorporating techniques like coaching, meditation, physical activity, nutrition, and personal development. In December 2019 she completed a clinical program and became a Certified Hypnotherapist (CHt), now incorporating hypnotherapy into treatment when appropriate. She utilizes her expertise in psychology & health/wellness to guide her clients toward creating the positive and lasting change they are searching for.

 

When she’s not in the office, you can find her spending time with family, outdoors, reading, and writing/creating content that she shares through her social media, podcast and YouTube channel.
