Dr. Amodu serves individuals across the lifespan, from adolescents (ages 13-17) to adults (ages 18-64) and geriatrics (ages 65 and older).

Dr. Amodu will assist her clients in understanding their medications by taking the time to explain the purpose, benefits, and potential side effects of each prescribed medication. She believes that education is a key component of mental health care and ensures that her clients are fully informed about how their medications work and why they are an important part of their treatment plan.

Dr. Amodu will also work with her clients to monitor medication effectiveness, adjusting as needed to optimize treatment. She encourages open communication, so clients feel comfortable discussing any concerns or side effects they may experience.

As a nurse practitioner, my work is driven by a genuine desire to make a difference in people’s lives. With more than 16 years of experience in nursing, particularly in psychiatric care, I’ve learned the importance of creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for my patients to be heard, understood, and supported. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who are navigating the complexities of mental health, from depression and anxiety to trauma and mood disorders. I believe that mental health care is a collaborative process, and I work with patients to tailor a treatment plan that meets their unique needs, goals, and challenges. My goal is not only to provide effective symptom and medication management but also to empower individuals to take control of their mental health and lead fulfilling lives.
