Group therapy is a specialized and a highly effective mode of treatment. For some concerns, group therapy has been shown to be the most effective mode of treatment. Often, the reason more people aren’t referred for group treatment is that not many groups exist! At CDCW, we are very invested in the power of group psychotherapy and the healing that happens when people share feelings and experiences with their peers in the presence of an experienced group clinicians.
A wide range of therapeutic groups aimed to address the specific treatment needs of our clients are available at CDCW. Under the guidance of group facilitators, individuals gain valuable life skills and may develop valuable social connections through the process. Groups are typically 8-weeks but new members are always welcome. Please inquire with us regarding the specifics on groups currently running.
