Dr. Jezl is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist; he has over 25+ years of clinical experience. He spent five years as a Child and Adolescent counselor on an inpatient psychiatric unit, and since 1994 he has practiced as a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice. Dr. Jezl has completed years of specialized training in the therapy and diagnosis of children and adolescents. He completed his psychological assessment training.

Dr. Amodu is a compassionate and dedicated Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 16 years of nursing experience, including specialized care in psychiatric settings. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Walden University in 2021, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2018 and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Frontier Nursing University in 2024.

Dr. Mirna Ballestas is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 24 years of experience. Dr. Ballestas earned her clinical psychologist degree at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia; and later completed a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology at Illinois School of Professional Psychology (Chicago, IL), with an emphasis in Health Psychology. Her clinical practice has focused on holistic health.

Antonina Barr is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker which includes a Professional Educator License with ISBE for children and teenagers Pre-K thru 12th grade. She obtained her Masters in School Social Work from The Jane Addam’s College of Social Work, a division of the University of Illinois at Chicago. Along with her masters, Antonina Barr also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Dance Therapy from Rockford and Regents College.

Emily Giacomino is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, a Registered Art Therapist, and a Professional School Counselor. She attended Illinois Wesleyan University for her undergraduate studies and went on to earn a Masters in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Art Therapy from The Adler School of Professional Psychology. After years working in the field, Emily attended DePaul University to study School Counseling.

He returned to SIUC to specialize in Rehabilitation Counseling with mental health and medical aspects focus.He is excited to work with children ages 10+, teenagers, and adults with combined behavioral and emotional challenges.

Susan (Sue) McKinney is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor affiliated with the CDCW since 2005. Ms McKinney works with adults, adolescents, and children ages 7 and up and facilitates individual, family, and group therapy. Her clinical interests include but are not limited to the treatment of all types of anxiety disorders, school refusal, depression, stress management, self-acceptance issues, parenting stress and family relationship struggles.

Dr. Zabinski is a Clinical Psychologist and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), committed to providing quality mental health care that is tailored to the unique needs of each individual. She received her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at National Louis University, where she focused her research on white racial identity development, immigration processes, and antiracism efforts.
